Job desc: |
Our client a telecom service solutions provider needs the service of a customer Technical Solutions manager. You will combine your exceptional communication skills, technical aptitude, and creative thinking to develop value propositions for our products and implement pre-sales presentations to our customers. Your responsibilities will include 1)Propose and/or design technical solutions, which include creating prototypes and proofs of concept. 2) Analyze solutions design of customers' systems, including usage patterns and identified inefficiencies. 3) Provide technical consulting and solutions feasibility according to products' Terms and Conditions. 4) Solve customers' business issues with RF, Transmission and technologies, brainstorming with the Sales team on technical propositions to enhance customer needs around four vectors: need analysis, solution design, user engagement, and conversion capabilities. 5)Present prototypes, demos, and proofs of concept to a wide variety of audiences, which include marketing professionals and engineers. |

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related major preferred with a strong academic record. Master's degree a plus. • Technical sales or field sales experience (sales engineering or professional consulting experience is preferred). • Experience working in a multi-vendor operator in Nigeria for a major operator with more than 5 million subscribers. • OEM/Vendor experience an advantage, • Written & Oral Communication skill • Organisational Awareness • Collaborative and Supportive team player. • A pro-active self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team • More than average knowledge in transmission network design, RF Planning and Optimization, LOS transmission deployment • Strong technical background with SDH, PDH, satellite transmission, EDGE, GPRS, GSM, UMTS and Core Network platforms in the telecoms industry • Proven ability to adapt your presentations to the technical level of the audience, and comfort with presenting technical materials to large groups. • Working knowledge of tools such as Pathloss, RF Assets, Mentum, Planet EV, MAPINFO, TEMS Investigation, SQL, Optima, OSS 3, Imanager, LMT • Fluent in English. |
