URGENT: RF Planning and Optimization Engineers |

The person shall be mainly responsible for GSM/UMTS/HSPA+ rollout and optimization support. The job requires sound knowledge of GSM/UMTS/HSDPA networks, technical details like modulation schemes, CQI and exercising judgment in performing optimization tasks. The engineer should be able to undertake network performance improvement tasks and manage the work flow in the field and office environment. Perform parameter optimization at BSC, BTS,RNC and node B level.Provide knowledge transfer to local engineers. Monitoring statistical performance and taking remedial actions whenever needed. Perform Drive test, Analyzing drive test data and proposing antenna/parameter changes to optimize the coverage/capacity and data throughput of the GSM/UMTS/HSPA+ network. Perform troubleshooting on the backhaul IP network. Perform link budget analysis, design criteria and traffic analysis. Ensure data integrity of various morphology/topography databases and drive test data for model calibration. Work with RF design engineer to understand the RF design, cluster definition, customer expectation, and network configuration.Study RF design coverage maps and identify problem areas in terms of coverage, interference, or pilot pollution.Plan and execute tasks to optimize RF clusters in the customer network during the deployment phase.Carry out area and site surveys to identify RF equipment location and antenna orientation.Perform RF network design, planning and optimization activities |
